I'm Jakayla Toney, a professional photographer and videographer with over a decade of experience bringing people, spaces, and brands to life.
Based in New Jersey and serving New York City, I specialize in commercial photography, real estate, cinematic property tours, portraits, and lifestyle imagery.
My approach combines natural storytelling with a cinematic perspective, creating visuals that feel authentic, intentional, and timeless.
From personal portraits to business campaigns, every project is an opportunity to tell a story worth remembering.
Photography With a Purpose
I believe professional photography and videography should be accessible to everyone. I work closely with small businesses, startups, and businesses facing financial challenges to help them build and maintain their social media presence. I create promotional photography and video content that helps showcase their products, services, and stories.
My involvement doesn't end after a single photoshoot. I offer ongoing monthly check-ins to help businesses stay consistent with their content, review their promotional needs, and make sure their photos and videos are being shared effectively across their social media platforms.
I'm passionate about helping businesses grow, especially those that may not have the resources to hire a full-time marketing team or invest in expensive advertising.
Giving Back Through Photography
I also offer free photography sessions to students, aspiring artists, and individuals who genuinely cannot afford professional photography services.
Whether you need portraits, creative portfolio images, or professional photos to help you pursue an opportunity, I believe financial circumstances shouldn't prevent you from having access to quality photography.
If you cannot afford a photoshoot, I simply ask that you cover my transportation costs instead.
My goal is to use my experience and creativity to support people, encourage small businesses, and make professional photography more accessible throughout New Jersey and New York City.
For me, photography isn't just about creating beautiful images. It's about creating opportunities, building connections, and helping others move forward.
